Our Mission Statement
The Long Island Italian American Loins Club is dedicated to serving our communities with compassion, integerity, and a deep respect for our sharedItalian American heritage. We Strive to uplift those in need, support local and global causes and promote fellowship among members through cultural pride and community service. As part of Lions International, we embrace the spirit of service above self, working together to make a meaningful difference- one act of kindness at a time.
Beyond the ordinary our recent accomplishments
The Long Island Italian American Lions LIIAL began our journey in 2025, during the few short months since our inception our list of accomplishments is where our journey begins, (see below) what we accomplished, we' are committed to support the needs of the Long Island community. Join us as we grow and succeed together. We're glad you're here to be a part of our story.
- Adopting a Battalion deployed Service men/woman personal care items, reading material, snacks
- Coat Drive & Clothing collection to support Long Island Coalition for the Homeless
- Food Collection for the Long Island Food Pantries
- Support Neighborhood clean-up, sponsored by Seaford Lions
- Support Rockville Center Lions in Purse for a Purpose
- Hosted Music Bingo evening with proceeds going to support research for Juvenile Diabetes, LIIAL VP Kayla Knight along with Ms. Wantagh walked to raise awareness, sponsorship for Juvenile Diabetes
- Funded restoration, beautification, rededication of Columbus Statue Mineola Courthouse
- Toy Drive Tricia's Kids 2024,2025
- Under way to date collected thousands of Eye Glass frames recycled to support adult vision
- Sock Drive for Homeless Veterans
- Hosted a Music Bingo event to raise money and awareness for Cooley's Anemia foundation
